Our key ongoing developments include:

• Connectivity: A new regional submarine cable, a subsea cable from Batam to SG, and other subsea infrastructure projects in Hawaii and Singapore

• Data centres: Currently in the construction phase of the hyperscale Data Center Campus at Nongsa Digital Park in Batam/Indonesia.

Position The BMS & OT Consultant will oversee the design, review, and implementation of the Schneider Electric Building Management System (BMS) and related OT systems for a new data centre (Module 1). The BMS & OT Consultant will review vendor submittals, verifying installation and integration, and ensuring secure, scalable, and standards-aligned deployment. This role also supports the cybersecurity team by defining secure OT architecture and enforcing segregation across OT/IT domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and challenge Schneider BMS submittals (architecture, points list, logic diagrams, commissioning plans).

• Validate system integration with EPMS, fire systems, access control, and other OT systems.

• Ensure compliance with open protocols (BACnet/IP, Modbus TCP), Schneider design guidelines, and project specs.

• Define and enforce control naming conventions, alarm hierarchies, and integration logic.

• Oversee FAT, SAT, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST) with vendors and main contractor.

• Define OT network segmentation in alignment with the Purdue Model and IEC 62443.

• Support the client’s cybersecurity team in validating secure remote access, patching policies, and audit trails.

• Document workflows, interfaces, and long-term maintainability requirements for future modules.

• Provide structured knowledge transfer to local operations and technical staff during and after commissioning.

• Support recruitment or onboarding of permanent site-based BMS/OT staff if not retained full-time.

• Provide training materials and handover documentation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 5–10 years of experience in BMS, controls, or OT integration for critical infrastructure (e.g., data centres, hospitals, airports).

• Proven hands-on experience with Schneider Electric BMS platforms (e.g., EcoStruxure).

• Solid understanding of OT and IT cybersecurity frameworks (IEC 62443, NIST CSF, ISO27001).

• Familiarity with SCADA, HMI, controllers, gateways, and OT network design.

• Experience managing vendors, reviewing technical designs, and commissioning BMS systems.

• Excellent documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
