Data Center Customer Support Manager

  • Data Center Critical Facilities Manager

  • Batam, Indonesia

  • Contract or Permanent

  • Job listed: 20/05/206

Our client is a growing data centre operator with a significant presence across the Asia-Pacific region. With major infrastructure investment underway, they're looking for a Customer Technical Support Manager to own the client-facing technical function at their Indonesian facility.

This role sits at the intersection of technical operations and customer relationships. You'll be the primary technical point of contact for clients — managing incidents end-to-end, coordinating resolution across internal teams, and ensuring customers receive the level of service expected from mission-critical infrastructure.

What you'll be doing:

- Acting as the first point of contact for all customer technical matters — from incident management and escalations through to change coordination, business reviews, and compliance support
- Working closely with operations, engineering, and facilities teams to troubleshoot issues, drive root cause analyses, and deliver lasting fixes
- Maintaining SLA compliance and accurate incident records, while proactively identifying recurring issues to continuously improve the client experience

What you'll bring:

- 7+ years in technical support, client services, or operations within a data centre environment
- Solid knowledge of critical DC infrastructure — UPS, generators, chillers, CDU, CRAH/FWU, and BMS systems
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks across Incident, Change, and Problem Management
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the composure to lead client communications during high-pressure incidents
- A degree in electrical, mechanical engineering, or a related field

What's in it for you:

  • Competitive salary

  • Insurances

  • Wellbeing benefits

  • Good life balance

  • Opportunities for professional development

  • A supportive work environment.

This is a high-visibility role within a business investing seriously in its regional operations. If you have a strong data centre technical support background and enjoy working directly with clients, we'd love to hear from you.
